A Prayer for Restoration
By Christine Perry

“Come, and allow us return to the Lord for He has torn, but He will mend us He has stricken, but He will bind us up.” – Hosea 6:1 NKJV

The moment sin reared its unattractive head, in the type of a snake, in the backyard garden of Eden in Genesis 3, brokenness entered the scene. Undoubtedly, we reside in a broken globe entire of damaged programs, situations, and people today. Sin leaves a ripple result that carries on yr after 12 months, technology immediately after technology. It influences every specific. You simply cannot stroll as a result of daily life unscathed.

This is no unique for Christians as it is for non-Christians. Matthew 5:45 states, “…He leads to his solar to increase on the evil and the very good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Just for the reason that we are Christians does not suggest we are exempt from trials and heartache. We Sometimes we have selected a harmful path. Other times, God helps make us dwell in darkness (Lamentations 3:6). It is not unusual to fail to remember God can even now restore you when you might be in the muck and the mire of a demo. Our circumstances sometimes cloud our view of all God is.

I do not know what you may be struggling with right now, but I want to remind you God is nonetheless in the business of restoring! He can even now restore a broken romance, shattered marriage, limp overall body, prodigal little one, tattered coronary heart, and scrambled brain. With guy, it is not possible, but with God, all matters are feasible (Matthew 19:26). God would not always restore the matters we have in brain. As an alternative, He restores our peace, pleasure, hope, and contentment, even with our unsure situations. Regardless of what God chooses, He continue to restores!

In addition to this, let us in no way fail to remember God has the last say. When He speaks, the storm is silent, the seas aspect, the lame are healed, and the blind see. He has the authority around every thing for the reason that He is the creator of all issues. If you might be heading by way of a difficult period, continue to keep pouring your heart out to God. He is not weary of your tears. He understands the words you cannot seem to be to utter. He sees the pain no one else can see. But also remind yourself God can continue to do exceedingly abundantly a lot more than you can talk to or think about (Ephesians 3:20).

Let’s pray:
Dear Father,

Thank You for Your fatherly care for us. Father, practically nothing is concealed from You. You know what each individual one particular of Your young children is heading as a result of. Father, when we are in the thick of a trial and feel much too damaged to be of use, would You remind us You nonetheless get the job done all points alongside one another for excellent? Remind us You have great plans for our lives — that You are our hope and long run. Be sure to keep all our damaged pieces alongside one another and hold us close to You.

Make sure you be our advocate. Be sure to battle for us when we can’t struggle for ourselves. Remember to be our defend and our protector. I inquire that if we are in a year of weeping, that joy will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Father, I ask that You would restore us to the joy of our salvation and uphold us with your generous Spirit (Psalm 51:12).

Father, we have to have You. We are dropped with out You. We know that aside from You, there is no very good in us. You should do not forsake the operates of Your hands (Psalm 138:8). the Father, enable us to be client throughout the year You have us in. I pray we will appear more like You in anything we do and say. Thank You for loving us. Thank You for getting a God who restores. Amen!
