It would be cool to have the following Pokemon as pets in real life.
There’s something appealing about having Pokémon as both friends and journey companions through the series’ many worlds. Most Pokemon games, if not all of them, let players travel the world and fight for the title of Pokemon Champion with their best creatures. Gym Battles, the Pokemon League, and even the Pokemon Championship are all exciting ways to do this.
But it doesn’t look like all Pokémon fans want to bring their favorite Pokemon to fights. Some Trainers might rather enjoy the company of Pokemon as pets instead. Which of the more than 700 Pokemon in the series would make the best real-life pets?
Trubbish: Save The Environment
People who are new to the series and are confused by how the new Pokemon look can use Trubbish as an example. Trubbish is a Pokémon that first showed up in Generation 5 games. It looks exactly like a trash bag. There is a story that says Trubbish was made when industry and household waste mixed together. When friends are around, Wild Trubbish stops giving off its poisonous fumes, but anyone who breathes them in could be asleep for up to 10 days.
At first, befriending Trubbish might seem dirty, but it’s not said anywhere in its description that it’s made out of real trash. Given that it doesn’t give off smells when friends are around, Trubbish won’t hurt their Trainers. Also, because they like to walk in dirty areas, walking with Trubbish can be good for the environment because its trash-based diet can clean up the neighborhood. Since trash likes dirty areas, players who don’t want it nearby could give it a dirty area all to itself without bothering or hurting it.
Altaria: Graceful Cottony Love
If you like the Pokemon series and want a loyal and cute pet in real life, Altaria is a good choice. This Pokemon, which is also known as the Humming Pokemon, first showed up in Generation 3 games as the advanced form of the cute Swablu. They have blue skin and fluffy feathers that make them look like soft toys from the Pokemon evolutionary tree.
The things that make Altaria a great pet are its natural traits. The birds love singing with their high voice and flying with the clouds. The sounds they make are also very relaxing and can put people in a dreamlike state. They are also very loyal to their Trainers and will often cover them in feathers to show it. Altaria was always there to help people fall asleep and sing them a bedtime story.
Tropius: Flying And Free Food
At first glance, Tropius looks more like a dinosaur than a Pokemon because it looks like a sauropod. It’s an interesting Grass/Flying-Type addition to a Trainer’s team, though, since it shows up in Generation 3 games. Tropius has a fairly big body and a long neck. It is also known for having green leaves that wrap around its body and can be folded into wings, which let it and its Trainer fly.
The more interesting thing about Tropius’s nature is that they can photosynthesize. Tropius can make a lot of sugar, and twice a year they wear their best fruits around their necks. Not only are Tropius good pets because they are gentle, but they can also be useful pet friends because they can gather food quickly.
Rotom: Portable Tech Support
The fact that a Trainer relies on everyday technology makes Rotom a very useful pet for today. Rotom showed up in Generation 4 games for the first time. It looks like an orange spear with a round base and a horn-like growth on top. They are constantly charged with electricity that goes through their bodies and into their arms and legs. Because of the risk of electrocution, no one can touch them.
Rotom is a useful pet because they are friendly and willing to help. Rotoms can “transform” and change their shape depending on what gadgets or appliances they touch. They can then use these to talk to other people. Rotom fans who have them as pets could use them to help around the house by messing with different gadgets. They can also be very useful for technicians who work with electronics because they can check for mistakes.
Ditto: Pranksters Unite
The way Ditto loves to copy the looks of everything around it is a running joke in the Pokemon series. This Pokemon is a great pet because it can copy other Pokemon. Changes into a different-colored blob most of the time. This is Ditto’s most amazing power. It can look like and have the powers of any living thing or physical item, which could make it as strong as other Pokemon. One thing is that its “disguises” will always have Ditto’s face on them.
When paired with Ditto’s tendency to pull funny stunts, this Pokemon’s ability to change forms could lead to some very funny jokes. With the help of a special Trainer, Ditto’s skills could mostly be used for fun. Players and their Ditto could try out different changes every day, so there was never a dull moment.
Porygon: Present In Cyberspace
Porygon is a Pokemon that is mostly made up of computer code. It is thought to be the first Pokemon ever made by humans. Since it first showed up in Doodle Baseball, Porygon has been known for having a polyhedral body with a long tail and a beak. Even though it can change into flatter forms (Porygon2, Porygon-Z), its angular look is what most people think of when they think of the creature.
There is no better Pokemon pet than Porygon in real life because it can go through online. Players no longer have to worry about where to stay when they bring Porygon to other places; it can now just use their Trainer’s phones or other devices to get there. Porygon is also low-maintenance because it doesn’t need food.
Minccino: Clean Is Always Good
Even though Minccino looks and feels like a cute little mouse, it has a lot of power. The Minccino Pokemon first showed up in Generation 5 games. It is called a Chinchilla and has gray fur with white tips on its ears and tail.
There are already Pokemon that look like rats or mice, but Minccino stands out because it is very clean. They care a lot about how they look and like to clean others and themselves with their bushy tails. For some reason, Minccino loves shiny things and likes cleaning them. She also loves cleaning their surroundings even more. If you have a Minccino as a pet, it will be just as clean-minded as its Trainer, so it won’t be hard for people to clean up after them.
Flareon: The Most Huggable Pokemon
Flareon’s popularity on the internet may have made it one of the best Pokemon to keep as a pet. When Flareon first showed up in Generation 1 games, it was thought to be the Fire-Type version of the cute Eevee. However, since an NSFW copy of Vaporeon made its way around message boards, Flareon steps in as what might be the cleanest Eeveelution a player could have.
Flareon is always interested in new things, so it likes to walk around and naturally heats the air it breathes. But if players can keep their core body temperature in check, they should be able to snuggle at just the right temperature to feel good. When compared to other Eevee evolutions, Flareon’s body has a lot of fur, which makes it even cozier to hug. Moves like Baby Doll Eyes and Charm can make their Trainer feel better no matter what.
Chikorita: Prime Relaxant
As a Grass-Type starter in Generation 2 games, Chikorita would be the perfect opponent for Bulbasaur. Its pale green body is topped with a big leaf. The fact that they are calm and have big red eyes makes their otherwise unimposing look even better.
The leaves and general moveset of Chikorita, on the other hand, make it the best starting Pokemon. Chikorita’s leaf can feel changes in temperature and humidity, and it may also give off a pleasant smell that could calm down even the most angry Pokemon. This calming effect goes all the way through to their Moves; for example, Aromatherapy might be able to help Trainers who are having mental problems.
Shuppet: Get Unnecessary Negativity Away
Even though it looks pretty scary, the flying Shuppet is actually a very cute Ghost-Type Pokemon. Shuppet is a Pokémon that first showed up in Generation 3 games. It is gray and has a horn-like growth on its head that is thought to be its power source. Shuppet’s ability to take in bad feelings makes it a very useful pet in real life.
Negative feelings like anger, jealousy, malice, and resentment become the best food for a Shuppet because they are what it eats. If you own a Shuppet, it would make a great therapy pet because it can soak up bad feelings, which gives people more time to think about what happened without hurting themselves or others.
